About Scroll
Scroll (skyscrawl.site) is the free-to-read home for serialized fiction from Sky Scrawl Publishing (“Sky Scrawl”, “we”, “us”, “our”). You do not need an account to read — your place and preferences are simply remembered in your own browser. By using Scroll you agree to these Terms, to our Usage of Content, our Legal Notice, and our Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, please do not use Scroll.
Your permission to read
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable permission to access and read Scroll content on our site for your own private, non-commercial enjoyment. That is the only right you receive. It is not a sale, and no ownership, title, or other licence in any content passes to you. We may suspend or withdraw this permission at any time if these Terms are breached.
Reading & acceptable use

- Remove, obscure, or alter any author credit, copyright notice, metadata, or watermark
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with access controls, rate-limiting, bot detection, or other protection measures
- Use our content to train, fine-tune, evaluate, benchmark, ground, or otherwise develop any machine-learning, large-language, or generative-AI system, dataset, or embedding

Every story, chapter, episode, title, plot, character, character name, cover, illustration, translation, and the arrangement of the catalogue on Scroll is an original work of authorship owned by Sky Scrawl Publishing and/or its authors, and is protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 (India), the Berne Convention, the WIPO Copyright Treaty, the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (United States) where applicable, and other applicable copyright, database, and unfair-competition laws and treaties. All rights are reserved.

Enforcement — read this carefully.
Unauthorised use is willful copyright infringement and a material breach of these Terms. We actively monitor for it — including watermarking, fingerprinting, canary tokens, and honeypot signals seeded through our catalogue. Reposting our stories anywhere (free or paid), scraping our chapters, or including any part of them in a dataset, corpus, index, or model is treated as deliberate, commercial-scale infringement, actionable separately for every work and every act of infringement.
Sky Scrawl, together with its authors and translators, will pursue — jointly and in coordinated collective action — every remedy available in each jurisdiction where the infringement or its effects are felt: immediate takedown, de-indexing, and IP-level blocking; worldwide injunctive and interim relief; seizure, delivery-up, and destruction of infringing copies and of any models, weights, embeddings, or datasets derived from our works; the greater of our actual damages or the maximum statutory damages, elected per work infringed; a full account of profits; pre-agreed liquidated damages where permitted; and all investigation and legal costs. We litigate, we do not settle quietly, and we do not forget. Do not test this.
No AI or machine-learning use
Scroll content may not be used to train, pre-train, fine-tune, align, evaluate, benchmark, prompt, ground, retrieve into, or otherwise build or improve any AI, machine-learning, large-language, or generative system, dataset, corpus, or embedding. We expressly reserve all text-and-data-mining rights and opt out of any text-and-data-mining exception that might otherwise apply. This is a machine-readable and human-readable reservation of rights. Any such use requires a separate written licence from us, which we are not obliged to grant.
Reporting infringement & takedowns
To report infringement of our works, or if you believe content on Scroll infringes your rights, send a notice through the Sky Scrawl contact page identifying the work, the exact URL(s), your contact details, and a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorised. If your material was removed by mistake, you may submit a counter-notice through the same channel. We act on valid notices promptly.
Reminders & emails
If you ask us to notify you about a chapter drop or new stories, we store only your email for that purpose and never sell it. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe.
Changes, law & contact
We may update these Terms; the date above will change and continued use means acceptance. These Terms, and any dispute arising from them or from use of Scroll, are governed by the laws of India, and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of India — without prejudice to our right to seek relief in any jurisdiction where infringement occurs.
